Big Fish Head

This is the last painting I executed in the Museum.

40x30 cm, Oil on Canvaspanel

There is a saying, that in a museum the time stands still. Here you can see that I paint so fast that even a photo can´t capture me when I am on duty. :-)

Another fine piece. I am digging that vigorous brushwork sense of space. I feel I can walk right behind that big ol fish head.

Thanks Rob, I saw in your blog that you took also a break from your car paintings in order to go out and do these colorful landscapes.

Chris, it is nice that you mention the sense of space that is so difficult to capture. Thanks!

Love the form you have given the fish head. I think I have seen that type in the history books before.. the kind with plated heads. Youe certainly caught it. Nice job on the base holding it too!!

Thanks, Michael! My favorite part was the shape the mouth made in front of the wall.

I like the big fish head. It has a really nice combination of colors-- very balanced in a pleasing way.

William, I thought of establishing an overall color mood in order of not destroying it by to many colors. Thanks!
