Figure Studies
Since December I am painting the nude with my evening class and sometimes I did paint along with them. I found it quite hard to concentrate on my paintings when I had to stop for the critiques of the students work but here are some, I am able to show.

Stefan --- a great job on some very difficult poses. Steve
Thanks Steve,I find the obviously difficult poses easier to paint than the simpler ones, for example a standing figure, which is so hard to measure.

These are wonderful! You effectively captured the complex poses and the delicate, subdued skin tones.
The light on these is handled very nicely. My favorite area is the strong reflection off the guy's back. It's interesting how skin can alternately be a matte or mirror surface.
I like the Big Fish Head quite a bit too. I'll have to come back and look at that every now and then.

I was and am still struggling with skintones. Sometimes it feels like I haven´t painted skin before. It is such a challenging thing to paint. Thanks for your comment.
