Sports Field
Michael and I were so keen on painting outdoors that the weather forecast wasn´t able to stop us and we were rewarded with a beautiful but chilly day. The painting was done in a place called Augarten and depicted in the painting on the right is one of the Flak Towers.

Solid drawing Jackson! Great complementary blast without being garrish or cute. Horizon buildings done nicely and not overpowering. I like that kind of weather... cool, brisk and lively. Another job well done!

You paint those towers much beautifuler than they are in real live.

Thanks William for commenting so much. Last summer the weather was so fine that I painted so many blue sky paintings and this year I started earlier to have these kind of skies.
René, not anymore, these towers don´t protect your bicycle from being stolen, like it happened to Michael the day after.
I paint them this way maybe because they look like old strange castles.
It is already spring and everything is blossoming. Great to paint!
well, vienna isn't the safest city anymore, since then the bunkers have been built by the germans (ok - instructed by an insane austrian...). I also heard of an german painter who lives in Vienna without any permission from the our emperor or the queen! Perhaps he has stolen my bike?

You successfully captured the brisk and cool atmosphere of a burgeoning spring season.
Great perspective and composition. I like the way the terra cotta track leads the eye to the buildings.
Michael, I don´t want to dissapoint you, there is no Emperor neither a Queen in Austria and as far as I know this painter, he serves here in Austria also as a development worker. ;-P

Thanks Jennifer, I try to be more concious of the abstract shapes in a composition which I think is very important.
