KHM

Today I received the permission to paint in the Kunsthistorisches Museum, which is one of the mayor collections of fine arts in the world. I am totally enthusiastic about that. Underneath you see one painting I did some time ago from a photo I took during a Francis Bacon Show at the Museum.

How very exciting. I can't wait to see what you come up with. Love the colors in the floor in the previous painting.

An amazing painting Stefan. That sacred atomosphere enhanced by the colours you have used. Love it.

Thanks Robin, I have already started painting and have done three and a half paintings, but haven´t taken pictures of them yet.

Hi Sheila,
that show was one of the most impressing ones I have ever seen. One thing that touched me most was that Bacon was so daring in his painterly approach.
So I took the photos and they carried this specific mood so well, that I had to paint them.
Thank you very much.

hallo stefan,

vielen dank uebrigens fuer dein blog, komme regelmässig her

schoene gruesse aus hamburg,

sven

What a great opportunity. Can't wait to see your works from the museum. You're so good at interiors. And exteriors, and portraits.

By the way, I have a new blog; studio280.blogspot.com

Hi Rob, it is very nice how you put it. I am also looking forward to paint interiors, because it is so cosy and warm inside.;-) Thanks!

Thanks so much, Silvina!

Hi Jennifer, nice to hear from you. I have already painted some, but not yet taken pictures of them.
