Workshops 2008

This years workshop dates are fixed and I am looking forward to them. The first one will be Portrait, then two Plein Air and the last one Figure Painting. You will find more Information when you follow the link on the right.

This is portrait of Jessica was done during my evening class in two sittings.

Beautiful! The way you painted the clothing so loosely contrasts nicely with the face and hand.

one of my goals recently is to stay loose in my brushwork and edges.

Stefan, this is a nice piece. I like the way you've finished the top painting without making the piece too laboured. It is interesting seeing the lower piece as it is in progress. I love the simplicity of the bouse in the earlier stage... it sings with simple planes and colour.
