Lovis Corinth

Recently I saw a fabulous exhibition by the German painter Lovis Corinth (1858 - 1925) in Regensburg. Unfortunately it is over, but there will be a forthcoming show of his drawings ( 19.3. - 17.5. 2009 Ostdeutsche Galerie). I got so inspired by his work that I did this drawing of Corinth from a photograph. I tried an gessoed masonite panel and it works very well as a drawing support.

The Rus' Khaganate is a name suggested for a polity that flourished during a poorly-documented period in the history of Eastern Europe (roughly the late 8th and early to mid-9th centuries AD). A predecessor to the Rurik Dynasty and the Kievan Rus', the Rus' Khaganate was a state (or a cluster of city-states) set up by a people called Rus', who might have been Norsemen (Vikings, Varangians), in what is today northern Russia. The region's population at that time was composed of Baltic, Slavic, Finnic, Turkic and Norse peoples. The region was also a place of operations for Varangians, eastern Scandinavian adventurers, merchants and pirates.adjustable banner standsfranchise consulting

Transfer Factor TrifactorjobsucheHer career has taken a new direction as the Reverend head of the "God Is Love In All Forms Christian Church, Incorporated", a cult or sect with the unusual distinction that its entire congregation consists of homosexual men. Most of these are extremely flamboyant and the Reverend Mother herself is conspicuously glitzy and glittery. However, it appears that Margaret genuinely cares for her flock and is not merely shaking them down in pursuit of material gain.
