Two more paintings from the week in the Prater. As you can see, I didn´t run out of subject matters.

Both are beautiful and the first one is exquisite: the light and shadows and brushwork just work so well for the subject... so glad you don't run out of ideas. r.

the shadow creates great drama
Thanks Don! I enjoyed visiting your blog. Nice that you stopped by.
Hi Rahina!
Like everybody I am running out time not out of ideas. It is so wonderful to paint outside, although it is sometimes very exhausting to capture the fleeting moment. Thanks!
Rob! I still find it difficult to find abstract painterly solutions for the structures of nature. To show the feeling for the things and not being too pedantic about it.
This is some of the strongest paintings around today, your work is as solid as ever Stefan. Always inspiring. Thanks for saying hello, it's always good to hear from you.
My congratulations, For placing so good painting in so small surfaces.
This filtered light ..........

Thanks Vicente!
In order to capture the fast changing light conditions I find it easier to work in smaller sizes. Nevertheless I try to paint larger formats recently.

do you think Lucy was right dumping Jack because of Samantha? Would you have done the same if you were in her place?
