Steinhof

At the end of August I had my Plein Air Workshop and I changed to location from the Wachau to a place in Vienna which is called Steinhof. It is a huge mental home so beautifully located and was built by the famous Viennese Jugendstil Architect Otto Wagner. The church in this area his one of the important sightseeing spots of Vienna. I tried to paint it but destroyed my attempt the other day.

These paintings are so lovely and fresh Stefan. And they all have your trademark Canaletto type light!

The works that have been saved from the destruction are very successful.
These effects of lights and shades are very luminous and green always fresh and very atmospherics.
