This building used to be a Flak Tower in WW2. Then it was turned into an Aqua Terra Zoo and remains a weird building still. Throughout the years I have painted it frequently. It is located on my road to downtown Vienna, which I pass quite often.
The painting took me several sittings where I returned to the spot. It felt quite comfortable not being in a hurry when painting outdoors.

I love the reflected light in the shadows. Beautiful painting.
Did you have a lot of onlookers?
beautiful composition and love the soft colours Stefan. I can see why you are attracted to paint it.
Hi Eric,
there were people passing by because it is a mayor street here in Vienna. They come up to me and chat. Actually I like getting an immediate response. Thanks!
Thanks, Rahina. I have painted this building a couple of times throughout the years. It is kind of fascinating.
Thanks you for your comment!

Disneyland Park is a theme park located in Anaheim, California, owned and operated by the Walt Disney Parks and Resorts division of The Walt Disney Company. Known as Disneyland when it opened on July 18, 1955, and still colloquially known by that name, it is the only theme park to be designed and built under the direct supervision of Walt Disney. In 1998, the theme park was re-branded "Disneyland Park" to distinguish it from the larger Disneyland Resort complex
