I like the bunch of people under the umbrella.

Thanks Don, slowly I start adding people into my paintings. Trevor Chamberlain said: If there are none in the landscapes, they look like Sunday morning pictures.

Servus!

Dank ADS bist Du entschuldigt. ;-)

Kevin- besides Richard Schmid, Trevor Chamberlain is another favourite of mine. Another one I recently dicovered is Edward Seago.

Hi George, almost missed to answer your comment. Thanks for dropping by. The edgework is something I am working on at the moment and it is amazing how important the edges are to the story of the painting.

Thanks René, the first one was painted a little later and I think because of being so industrious in painting right now I gain a certain continuity.

I love the shapes created in House of the Sea. I actually enjoy Sunday morning pictures. You have created environments that I would live to explore. I am never disappointed when I visit your blog Stefan

Stefan, 3 really nice ones. I love the effect of light in the first... looks like a great building to paint!! You have a knack for capturing the life of daylight!!

cheers, Michael.

Thanks Robin for frequently coming by and leaving a comment. If it is not too hot, like it is now, Vienna is a wonderful place to paint. Forget about the Tuscany and France.;-)

Hi Michael, it almost seems that I am a fine weather painter. Thanks for your compliment.

I love the shadow side of the building on the left, first piece. That cool/warm variation really breaths life into it. Great color. Glad to have now found your blog!

Thanks Ed, I really enjoy painting these small ones. To judge the values and the colors is really a tricky thing, but you know that.
