The Vicinity of Vienna

From my recent PA´s you can actually tell what the wheather is like at the moment here in Vienna. The two last ones I painted with Michael and we had such a gorgeous day out.

Wienfluß, 30 x 40 cm, Oil on Canvaspanel

Hut on the Hill | Hütte am Hügel, 30 x 40 cm, Oil on Canvaspanel

Barn in the Woods | Scheune im Wald, 30 x 20 cm, Oil on MDF

These are beautiful! Amazing feeling of light and the foliage is terrific. Did you do all three the same day?

You just keep getting better all the time. I wish I wasn't so busy fixing my darned studio and I could get outside to paint as well.

Keep up the great work Stefan.

Cheers... Andrew Judd

Wow, that first piece (Wienfluß) is amazing. Great composition, and your values are right on. Bravo!

Servus Stefan!

Nice pieces, I especially enjoy that top image....great contrast, and I really like those shadows that lay across the road as well.

Hey Andrew, I did the two last ones the same day. It is great to hear from you and I hope your studio is making progress. Thanks for your kind words. Cheers....Nue

Hi Ed, I found your blog some time ago and it is nice that you came by and left a comment. Thank you.

Michael, Du armes Schwein.

Thank you, Jared. I painted unusually long on the first piece, but it turned ouf quite satifactory.
