I went with my PA Buddy Michael Ornauer (here is his painting) to the Stadtpark to paint the first one and in the afternoon I tried to capure a person in front of a Henry Moore Sculpture on the Karlsplatz.

Gorgeous light on this building structure. I'm newly in awe of your P.A. work because I've been doing outdoor studies for two weeks now. My studies look barbaric compared to your sensitive paintings. Excellent work Stefan!
Das selbe als mit Michael, ...
but worth waiting Stefan, eine gute Partei Arbeit! gut gemacht!
Thanks Silvina!
The first year I painted PA it was always a struggle and I ran out of time, because of the changing light conditions. It became better over the time and I try to remind myself on focusing on the essentials and to simplify.
But I do not post the failures! ;-)
René, I get confused in which language I should reply. Vielen Dank!
In these two, I tryed a simpler color scheme and I think the mood gets more specific.
Don't post the failures... got it.
ooh those pink/blue greys on the stone work are just spot on Stefan.
very convincing...
love how you played down detail behind the sculpture, great mood in both...
is rene showing off his german again?
Stefan, beautiful drawing and value play in both of them. The first one is spectacular in it's sense of daylight IMHO. The light hitting the top of the structure is very well done. Looks like you are using some sort of warm redish undertone in both of these, it's working.
wow! your new outside paintings are a riot of light and joy of the sun! The top one is a new high!
Hi Rob!
In the first one I had the feeling that it took me too long and I wanted to stay simple in tone, color and comp. So in the second I had an wanted to hurry, because of the figure.
Yess, our René! ;-))
Hi Michael,
especially the against the light situations are difficult. So I am very happy that I get such good response. Thanks!
I work on white acrylic structured canvaspanels which I tone before with the muddy leftover paint from previous mixtures.
Wow, William! Those words from you! Thanks a lot!
Ohh jesus Stefan!!!! I just love these big hard Walfischpimmel! Just great, so f*************ing great! You can feel the loads of sperm running down into your hemdausschnitt!
