Some recent portraits | Einige aktuelle Portraits

Since spring I quite frequently painted portraits and recently with people from the Vienna Sketchgroup. The ones among you, who do portraits, know what a drag it is sometimes. It is not only the resemblance I like to capture. It is more the essence of that person.

ahhh Stephan, the essence, the emotion, the soul of the sitter, it is a tough one which i delight in if i can capture it.... i find i can't paint with a group of painters but need to be alone to build a dialogue in my head with the subject. your work has a powerful touch and freshness to it. i look forward to seeing more

Vielen Dank!

Other members of the camp overhear her saying to Frank "Kiss my hot lips.
