In the recent museum paintings I tried to increase the size. This view from the top of the hall in the Museum of Art History took me from April until August. I changed the composition and restretched it during the work and now it is included in the Munich Show.
Bei den letzten Museumsbildern versuchte ich mich in größeren Formaten. An dieser Ansicht, von oben in die Kuppelhalle des Kunsthistorischen Museums , malte ich von April bis August. Ich veränderte die Komposition und spannte die Leinwand dafür um. Nun ist das Bild in der Münchner Ausstellung zu sehen.

This is amazing, Stefan. Is that a reflection of you painting in the top? The setting reminds me very much of the Vatican Museums as well. Wonderful detail and composition, I'm very impressed! Wish I could be in Munich to see the show, such a great city with some of the best museums and art...
